Patient Information

50 year old male with a history of diabetes, kidney failure and on dialysis was initially treated by another specialist. He was found to have poor circulation in his leg. So he was sent to a vascular surgeon to improve the circulation in his leg. After that was done using an operating microscope, tissue from the patient's forearm was auto transplanted to close the wound on his leg so that he could continue to live a productive functional life. He is shown one year after his final surgery to save his leg.
