20 year old female pregnant with twins had an auto accident. She had six broken bones in her hand and the wound seen here. The bones were fixed and the fat and a special layer of tissue with its own blood supply was taken from the forearm used to cover the wound. Six years after her accident she has full use of her hand and works full time with no limitations.
