46 year old male suffered a work related injury with damage to skin on the palm of his hand and open fractures and severe ligament injuries of his thumb to his thumb. He underwent two operations to clean out the wound and fix the bones of his thumb and move skin from his index finger to save the thumb. All his fingers were saved and he was able to return to work doing his previous job. He is shown one year after his last surgery.
