74 year old female with 61 inches 150lbs who had a maximum weight of 230lbs. she underwent weight loss surgery with overall improvement in her health but she was left with loose skin throughout her body. As she continued to lose weight she noticed that she was suffering from irritation, infections and bad odors in the skin fold below her abdominal apron. Because her abdomen had loose skin in multiple directions a panniculectomy with an upside down T incision aka Fleur de Leus was done. After surgery the patient's problems were resolved completely and she is happy with her outcome. Over time the scars will fade and become impercetible. The patient is shown three months after her surgery.
